At Oxford Grove, we are immensely proud of all our children with their wide range of talents, interests and abilities.
Outside of school, Freya in Year 4S takes part in a cheerleading club run by Bolton Gymnastics Club. Her team have been incredibly successful, winning the UK National Cheerleading Championships to become National Champions. They now have the unique opportunity to travel to Slovenia to take part in the European Cheerleading Championship!
As Freya’s team is now fundraising to raise money in order to take them to Slovenia, our School Council decided to hold a non-uniform day on Friday 13th May.
We raised £330 altogether, and the cheque was presented to Freya’s mum in assembly this morning. The cheque will be passed on to Bolton Gymnastics Club to help towards the costs of cheerleading uniforms and travel to the international competition.
Good luck to Freya and her team.
Well Freya hopefully you win again. I can not believe we raised over 330.
Good luck to Freya and her team. Her next tornerment is to go cheerleading at Slovenia.
Good look with your gymnastics freya and her team
Well done Freya, all you friends must be so proud.
That’s great Freya you have made our school proud.
