How We Teach Computing and Online Safety

Today we have held workshops for our families and governors on how we teach Computing and Online Safety.

Lyndsey from Smoothwall delivered a presentation at the start of the morning on how families keep children safe online, which was very informative and full of useful guidance.

Then KS2 families had the opportunity to visit classes for a special lesson. Children covered some online safety topics in more depth. Afterwards, they had an overview of Computer Science in each year group and what our computing curriculum looks like.

In the afternoon, our EYFS and KS1 families were also invited to school to learn about how to keep children safe online.

Thank you to all of our families and governors who could attend!
