This morning our brand new school council led a fantastic assembly all about anti bullying. First, our new school councillors introduced themselves and explained their roles. Next, we recapped the four types of bullying. These include, cyber bullying, physical bullying, verbal bullying and social bullying. We also reminded the pupils at Oxford Grove how our school is a bully free zone. Finally, we explained how we have regular meetings about how we can improve our school, we then take these ideas to Miss Harvey.
Have a look at our fantastic assembly.

The school council was brilliant at the speech they did very well!!!!
I like all the school council members all are kind
we had a amazing assembly about the school council i was there with Eva
The school council spent a lot of time preparing a assembly to talk about anti bullying. Anti bullying has a lot of impact on a persons mental health and it can lead to serious issues.
I think it was a great idea to have the school councillors talk about bullying, especially since they are kids themselves. Kids often relate better to their peers, so hearing from other students makes the message more impactful. By discussing what bullying is and how to handle it, the councillors helped the children understand the importance of kindness and standing up for others. This kind of peer-led education empowers kids to not only recognize bullying but also support their friends and classmates who might be going through it. It’s a wonderful way to foster a caring and supportive school environment!
This assembly was absolutely outstanding! Ever since this assembly finished I felt so much more happier and joyful than before and I would like to say a big thank you to the people who planned and did this assembly thank you so much!
