Today, Oxford Grove had a special assembly all about treating people with equality. Equality means treating everyone fairly no matter what they look like, who are they are or what they believe in. We learnt about homophobia and how this is linked to football. This assembly used football as a means to communicate messages of inclusion to our children.
What did you learn from this assembly? What did you enjoy the most?
We learnt from the assembly that saying bad words would make people feel very upset.
The assembly was amazing ,fantastic and the best assembly ever.
Ks2 learned about the people who were bullied and the people who were treated differently.
