Thank you to all our amazing pupils and parents/ carers who took part in our whole school competition- Spellathon! As a school, we managed to raise a fantastic £1488.96! Not only did we raise a huge amount of money, we were able to revisit, recap and remember our Autumn target spellings words in the process!
Once we had completed our Spellathon, the lovely Gill from Fortalice attended our school assembly to receive our donation!

Wow! I can’t believe that we raised so much money, the amount we raised is £1488.64 which is so much money. I got all of my spellings in spellathon correct and got a prize by Mrs Bain. My mum helped raise £10.
It is was an amazing £1488.64 we raised for a charity.I had got all my spellings and earned a prize. I gave the charity £6.
I tried hard with my spelling and I only got 2 wrong which is ok

Wow! I can’t believe that we have raised £1488.64 for a charity and it definitely blew my mind when I was standing there. I got all my spellings correct and as a prize I got a pencil that had a animal rubber at the top. Thank you Miss Jhonston for doing this spell at hon! I

I’m so proud of everyone. We all did so good . I could believe that we raise that much because Oxford Grove Primary school is an amazing place and everyone is so nice.
I loved doing this.! I can’t believe we raised this much money. My family helped me raise £15.00! I loved this I hope we can do more like this again.

I was very surprised when the school raised £1488.96! I am very proud of myself as I got all my spellings correct and gave in some money. I am looking forward to more competitions like this.
