Anti-Bullying School Council assembly

Our fantastic School Council led an assembly on anti-bullying today. They did a fantastic job at using their physical oracy skills as they spoke loudly, clearly and confidently- using their voice and face to share ideas with a good pace! They discussed how children at Oxford Grove are happy and kind and that our initiative of being a bully-free zone is very successful. Our STOP posters around school highlight that bullying is something that happens Several Times On Purpose. School Council emphasised that whilst something like an argument at playtime can definitely be upsetting, it is not bullying. Remember, if you are ever feeling upset, you can talk to a trusted adult, a teacher or any member of staff so that we can help keep our school a happy place to be!
