Computing LC1

Today in computing Year 5 learnt all about search engines. We learnt that there are lots of different search engines which all use an index of the web created by programs called web crawlers. We tested out different search engines and know that when we search the web we can sometimes get results which are not relevant so we need to really think about the terms we use when we use a search engine. In the classroom, we created our own index like web crawlers to find things in our classroom without having to search the whole classroom. What did you learn Year 5?
