Today we discussed ‘the internet’ and how the proper name is ‘the web’. We discussed what we enjoy doing online and how some activities on the web are safe and some might not be safe.
Next we read ‘Tek the Modern Caveboy’ and discussed the online safety issues in the story We realised that Tek needs to come away from technology in order to support his health and wellbeing.
Finally we went into the computing suite to explore ‘Interland’. This is a game designed by Google (who run our virtual online safety assemblies) that teaches us how to keep safe online.
Do not share you real name on any online games. You can’t say your age too.
I learned that some safe games are actually fun. Like Interland (which is made from google.) We were playing Tower of treasure. Also we watched a video about Tek the cave boy and how he was playing video games. We shouldn’t play too much video games because your eyes might hurt. You need to spend more time outside in the fresh air.
What I have learned today is that safe games are more fun than other games. In the story Tek it teaches us to take time off our gadgets and go outside.
Today in computing we learnt all about we can keep safe on the internet using internet.

I learned that some safe games online are fun . And do not share your you name ,age and school .
Today in computing we read a book and it taught us to have break’s from games. This is important to stay healthy and safe.
This game was very fun because safe games is a happy 😊 game .Also we have to make, sure we do not, put are real avatar on or are address were we live make sure you put a completely different avatar online and write a very difficult name just .

Today we learned how the web is safe place for children and how we can be safe on the web and we can’t tell strangers our private information online like your phone number address name school age birth date birthday or you won’t be safe online.
I learn about interland it is a save game to play and I learn another thing don’t put your phone number and your real avatar and your address.
I’ve learned today that safer games are more fun and I’ve also learned that to be safe on line and don’t post a picture on line of you, don’t post your address and don’t even post your school name.
You always need to be safe and if your not sure on something then just ask a teacher or an adult who you trust and never add a random number or person who you don’t know because it is not safe.
Be safe on line all the time and don’t let anyone pick you up from school or anywhere if you don’t know them.
Today in computing we learnt all about how we can keep safe on the internet using Interland. We need to not share our passwords and keep our information private. We have seen a girl’s account that was not private and had her personal information on it on what she likes, what she loves, where you can find her, when she was born and her name!! But we have found another account that has an avatar on and her game levels on there non of her personal information just her game levels. I loved this lesson! We even went on a game!
Today Miss Affleck told us what games are safe and we played on Interland which is a game that is safe and google made it so it is safe and we need a brake when we have been on a phone or iPad because it is not good to be on your iPad all day because you need to healthy and get sleep and eat also you need to get some exercise. And we looked at some profiles and told Miss Affleck what was wrong and what was write and what was wrong and when we looked at one of the profiles they told us that she was a girl what her name was what her school name was what we can find her on and even her birthday and her best freind was called.

We can’t share our information with other people like you can’t tell password to anyone, your address , your name , your country and how old you are. We have to make sure that we are not playing games that we are not allowed to play .
I found this game very fun and safe for me and other children. Make sure your personal information is not online because it is not safe. But tower of treasure is a very safe game for kids.And I love it.It’s just AMAZING and very appropriate for kids.You should never post any of your information online or actual pictures of your self and don’t post your address because someone could come to your house and you might not no them.

I really enjoyed playing be Internet Legends because it was a good game to play. I learnt that you should always play safe games but not scary games to play or watch. You should always play safe games like be Internet Legends because it is not a scary game to watch on your tablet or phone. I also learnt about the story called Tek because he shouldn’t have been watching video games and he should have been taking breaks.
