This afternoon, Year 5 took part in our sports assembly. We showed off our skills in four different races: a sprint race, a beanbag race, an obstacle course and a football race. We really enjoyed taking part in all of our races and cheering on our classmates. Thank you to all parents who attended and helped us celebrate our success! Which race was your favourite Year 5?

I liked this because this keeps us fit and healthy and we got stickers if we got 1st 2nd 3rd. We also did lots of different races like football and sprint race. We raced against our team.
This was really good and fun because we did lots of cool races like football, obstacles and sprint race. I loved the sprint race because you get to sprint. And we get to see our family and the parents were really proud!
Although my parents couldn’t come, I still had a blast, my favourite was the running race because I came in 2nd.
On this day, my dad came to watch me! I came 2nd 3 times and 3rd once even though I didn’t get a 1st place I am still grateful and I did great.
I loved this sports day I like this one because mainly I won 1st for three rounds and then came 2nd, we also did a football game which I have not done before! I was so excited to go and do it. I really enjoyed it!
