Today, Year 6 watched our Google assembly all about staying safe online over the summer. We learnt that it is really important for us to think before you tap, and to ask a trusted adult if we see anything online that makes us feel upset or worried. We also found out that it is really important to stick to age limits online to help us stay safe. What did you learn Year 6?
Today we did our google assembly and we learnt to be kind and if someone makes
you sad, you should report them and also block them but don’t start talking bad about them because you might get in trouble when it was mostly their fault so tell a trusted adult also. We also learnt to stick with age limits and not join a game that is more than your age.
Today we learnt about online safety with the Internet legends! We learnt that clicking apps that have an age rating can affect what you see on the app and if you are 10 and the app says 13+ you can’t use the app.
Today we learned about how to stay safe on the internet and what are the things that can happen if you click on a fake website or a game and how you can get scammed.
Today, we learnt about how to stay safe online, Sometimes stuff that looks real is fake and that some games are PG rated which means you have to be a certain age for a game like PG 18 that means you need to be 18 to play that game and that is the same with PG 13, PG 12 and PG3.
When we watched the video we leant about how to stay safe on the internet and that you need to read before you click something because sometimes it can be very dangerous but always tell a trusted adult that you have in your family to check if it is okay for you to click on it but always remember to check the game ages because if it is a 12+ and you are seven never play it until you are 12+
We had a good gel assembly and we learnt about how to stay safe , google assembly’s helps us learn to nit be mean online and to not start fights. I enjoyed this 30m experience and I would like to do another one already!
