Today our music ambassador helped us to learn all about our musician of the month, Bob Marley. We learnt all about his life in Jamaica and his inspiring and catchy music. We listened to some of his music and most of us really liked it! What did you learn Year 5?
I liked Bob Marley’s music because it makes me feel calm and relaxed.
I had heard of Bob Marley before! I liked his music because it has a good beat and the music feels really relaxed.
I love musician of the month because I get to learn more about famous people and their music.
Today we learned about a guy called Bob Marley. Most of his songs were about equal rights which I think is a good thing to do. I really like his music I like his type of music called reggae. I like his songs such as Three Little Birds, he also died in 1981. He lived a great life.

This song has very nice beat. The song ‘one love’ is one of my favourites. But he unfortunately died in 1981 at just 43 years old! Very young! He is known for being called ‘the king of reggae’ as his music category is reggae. Bob’s music was famous in the 60s and is still famous now. In conclusion this music will be in my top ten.

I really liked Bob Marley’s music because it seems very chill and I learnt that he likes football and he was born in Jamaica but that does make sense, his music is like Jamaican music. He sadly died in 1981 but I’m very sure he had a fun life because all of his music are really catchy so that must of made him happy!
Today we leaned about are musician of the month who is Bob Marley! We got to listen to some of his music, we listened to “three little birds” it was such a catchy song there was so many different beats and we also listened to “one love” . Bob Marley makes reggae music but he sadly died 1981. He made OVER 200 songs! That is A LOT of songs. Miss Nixon also put on “No Woman, No Cry” that was a great song as well.
