Today Year 5 performed our RRR class assembly for our parents. We had the chance to showcase all the amazing things we have learnt in Year 5, as well as the exciting new topics coming up! Thank you to all parents who joined us this morning. What are you most looking forward to learning about Year 5?
Today we did our class assembly and we did the car trip poem. We did lots of chanting and one was about fraction and our 9 times tables and we had two people in our class show everyone how Sir Isaac Newton first discovered gravity. At the end we got to hug our family and take pictures.
Today we did our class assembly and some people did the car trip it was really funny.
We also sang the continents song it goes like this Asia Africa north and South America Antarctica Europe and finally Australia. My line was “so where can I see Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn?”. At the end, we got to see our adults and give them a hug.
Today we did our assembly, I had a headband and had to awkwardly stare at people and turn them to stone as I was Medusa!

This assembly has lots of drama moments in it because our teacher (Miss Nixon) really likes drama! We showed the parents how Isaac Newton discovered gravity and my classmate was Isaac and another person dropped the plastic apple on his head. We also acted out the car trip, I wasn’t part of it sadly.
This class assembly was one of my favourites because I was medusa and I did some acting. I also acted out the scene of car trip.

This is my favourite class assembly yet because I was a person called Medusa and I froze people and my part of the show was acting and that is my favourite lesson of all. We also did some more acting in The Car Trip by Michael Morpurgo.
