This afternoon, Year 4 have been discussing all about how to stay safe online. Firstly, we talked about the different things we can do online. We looked at how some of these activities can be safe and unsafe. Then, we read Troll Stinks. We spoke about how we need to make sure we are kind to each other, as we read about online bullying. We do not think this is acceptable. Next, we made our way to the computer suite to play Interland! We had a go at playing Kind Kingdom and reflected on how we should practise this when we are on the web!

When we did this fantastic interland it was really fun because we got to learn about being nice and kind to be people and respectful. It teaches us important messages like don’t send horrible messages to people. We also read a story about the goats and the trolls the goats sent horrible messages to the trolls online. We learned that sending horrible messages to people is not fair and learned why you should not send horrible messages to people. On interland you can play kind kingdom . Kind kingdom reminds us about friendship.

This afternoon we played interland. It teaches you how to stay safe online as well as having lots of fun and to help others. I had lots of fun playing this and I want to play this again another time .I like this app because it helps you how to connect with others and learn how to stay safe online . You can also have fun and learn at the same time .I hope we can do this learning another time because this is such an amazing app . This has to be the most fun app I have ever played . Today we played on Kind Kingdom. I learned why bulling is bad. On it there were bullies so we helped them and we made them feel better.
We found out that the internet is the www (world wide web). Two safe things we do on the internet is keep our passwords to yourself and don’t send you address to anyone. We should tell our trusted adults if we see something unkind. We read a book called trolls stinks and the goats were treating the trolls unfairly and being mean. We played on interland and we went on kind kingdom to make sure we are safe online . A saying that you can say is ‘treat people that you want to be treated’ . The internet is a website where it can answer everything online. Two safe things to do on the internet are to search difficult things to help you and they have fun and safe games to play. If we see some unkind things, tell a trusted adult immediately so they can solve it. In a books called ‘troll stinks’ there were two goats going online and sending bad messages to a little nice troll. We went on interland and went on kind kingdom to learn how to be kind and sensible. Kind kid on always reminds us of how to behave good online.
Good job year 4. Online safety is very important. Interlaid is a perfect way to understand what online safety is, how to stay safe online, how to make good passwords, how to be kind online and much much more. Another thing that you learned about is online bullying. This is a big thing because if you do not know how to deal with online bullies, they can continue bullying you and you will feel bad. Kind kingdoms is very good for this as it teaches you to be kind and report bullying. You should even be kind to bullies because they might need a like bit of love.
Interland is a very good and useful game it helps you with your mental health and helps you with not sharing passwords and to not tell your personal information.Also it helps you understand how you can make a complicated password so no-one can can enter it on your account
