Smoothwall

Today, Year 5 took part in an online safety workshop from Smoothwall. We began by discussing what technology we use at home and the different resources we might access. We talked about how not everything we see online is real and what we should do if we think something that we see or read online is not real. We discussed the games we play online and who we might be interacting with. It is important to remember age ratings for games and not speak to people that we don’t know.

We were reminded that AI tools are there to help us with questions we have but they are not humans, AI does not have any emotions or feelings! Finally, we talked about making sure we share things with trusted adults so that we can stay safe and healthy. What did you learn in the workshop, Year 5?
