Computing open morning

This morning, Year 5 had our computing open morning where we had the chance to show our adults our amazing computer science skills! We started by doing a Project Evolve starter which we have at the start of every computing lesson to recap key messages about online safety. Next, we showed our adults some of the online learning platforms we use in school such as IXL and TTRockstars which help us with our learning. Finally, we showcased our coding skills using Scratch to build a times table quiz using selection. Thank you to all parents who joined us. What did you enjoy the most Year 5?

The computing open morning was super fun because we first did a RRR on our school apps that help us learn like TTRS or EdShed or Purple mash and finally IXL. After that we have made some really fun scratch quizzes about our learning. I made a science quiz about gravity.
