This morning, Year 5 recapped their knowledge about networks. First, we looked at how a network works. Networks can allow people to access files from anywhere in the world. We had to pretend we were a network and pass a message round. We passed a message round our own tables first, then moved the message onto other tables. We also looked at how we can keep networks safe and secure.

Today we have learned obout network. Network let us send information to different computers . We have to keep network safe to make sure person information is safe.

Today we were learning about how the network works. The networks activity can send information and it connects networks with a site. We need to keep the network safe because if random people know it then it could be dangerous if anybody knows about it. If we don’t be careful about what we send, then we could put ourselves in danger. We should be careful about what we send and should know how to block and accept things. We had to write down the exact right address and send it to the router to make sure our message got sent.
So as a class we have learnt that the internet is actually a lot bigger than we thought like say you lived in North America and you had a friend in Australia you could go on the internet wait a few minutes boom your friend has the message. Our teacher Miss Nixon she all gave us 2 post it notes and she gave us a planet ,including a number then we first wrote a message with our pretend email we gave it to some no on our table then we did it to someone else but anywhere in the classroom I gave my to Ruby and she gave hers to me. If you don’t know how your phones or tablets work well there’s this thing called a rooter were that connects to your device so that’s how your devices work. If you want to keep your network safe be careful on who you talk to and if anything bad pops up ether tell a trusted adult or take a picture, block it and show your parent they will sort thing out for you. Another thing is be careful what you sent like you could send a personally picture then someone will find that out if it is your address then can find your house if it’s a street then will find the street so b pleas be careful at what you post online.
Today we are learning how the internet works so we got post it notes and we also got a number and a planet and everyone else did as well.We had to write our address on the post it notes and the other persons address who we were giving it to so we could send it on our table or on a diffrent table.
This afternoon we were learning about networks and how they work. To start with we had a quick activity, we had to write our address and planet on our post- it notes and write something on it and then send it to someone on our table. After that we did it again but this time we could send it to anyone in our classroom and we also had a router which would deliver it to the person you wrote it because routers connect networks together. We should always be careful when connecting networks together. To keep us safe online you should block people you don’t know because they could find your personal information such as:
Your address
Which school you go and much more.
We should also be careful about what we send to others.
Today we were learning about networks. To show this, we have been doing an activity to help us understand all about networks. We have learnt to send your information to the right address. This is because if a stranger or somebody from the streets send a message to you and you sent your address they can easily kidnap you. We also have been connecting networks with a router. A router is a person or something that sends messages. I was the router for my table Neptune and I had to make sure the post-it notes went to the right address. Since we used post-it notes to send messages to the right address.
Today we were learning about network we learnt that it takes time to send and it obviously sends information we are connecting network. Today Miss Nixon gave us a post it note and we sent it to anyone in our classroom. We also learnt to write the right address and then we used a rooter. The rooter had to send the notes to the correct person, connecting networks together. We need to keep it safe by not sending it to like people we do not know at all basically like strangers.

Today we were learning bout how the internet travels all around the whole earth.Your probably wondering how does the internet travel all around the world it’s because of a little thing called a router that connects to the internet to send information to other people.This is because of network activity that connects to the router therefore it travels all the way to the person your trying to connect to but you don’t want to share your internet with someone else who you don’t know. An example is if you send someone your address and you have to be careful with writing there address because it might go to someone you don’t want it to go to like a bad guy. do get people on your internet block and accept information be careful when you are on the internet.

After we discussed a little bit about what an network is we did a network activity where we used post-it notes to write our message to anyone on our table but we had to write the correct address to send it to the right place after that we were connecting multiple networks with a rooter the 1st person on the left side was the rooter . After that we discussed how to keep a network safe by blocking information and keeping personal information to ourselves we learned to be careful on what we send to each other .
Today we were learning about connecting network. We got two post it notes. One was sending a message to one person on our table, which was a network. The second one was to send a message to anyone in our class, it was really really fun and also on our tables we all have a rooter, on my table Inaaya was the rooter, who connected the different networks together. Also we learned that we can’t just send it to a stranger because then they know our address and that will be unsafe.

The activity we did to help us was with post – it notes so Miss gave us two post – it notes each we had to write an email to someone on our table on one of them and on the other one we gave it to someone in the class room . I gave it to Minaal and Hasti my table was Mercury and the table behind me was Venus ! We have to keep networks safe by blocking bad information and accepting information and be careful what you say because you can make someone uncomfortable or hurt or upset! Don’t give personal information to anyone!
Today we we’re learning about connecting networks.We did a network activity where we got two post it notes.One of them was sending a message to someone on your table and the other one was sending a message to anyone in the room.We all need to make sure if we get a message of someone that we block and accept it and be careful what you send.We use a rooter to connect networks together when sending a message.When you have got a message you need to accept it only if you know that person.
