Year 1 have had such an amazing half term! We have had so many exciting experiences and learned so much already. Now we are looking forward to Autumn 2, where we will learn so many more new things…
History – We will learn about toys from different times in the past. We are particularly excited about our trip to Bolton Museum to experience toys from a very long time ago!
Art – We are going to create some of our own portraits and focus on proportion in our sketching.
Science – We are going to be looking at what is different in Autumn and experiencing some of the changes in real life.
Computing – We are going to develop our word processing skills and build our typing speed and accuracy.
PE – We will work on our fitness and start to develop different ball skills. Some of us will be going to Throwing and Catching club as well!
RE – We will learn about the Christian story of creation and what makes our world so special.
PSHRE – We are going to look at similarities and differences between people and how we make new friends. We will also look at what bullying looks like and how to stop it.
