Throughout the Early Years, the development of children’s fine motor control is incredibly fundamental! Having the opportunity for children to build up their finger and hand strength, coordination and control are important for the development of early writing skills.
In class this week, we have lots of fine motor activities based around our focus book ‘Fletcher and the Falling Leaves’ such as pegging leaves onto string, making playdough hedgehogs and weaving material around pinecones!
