Safer Internet Day 2025

This week, we have been celebrating Safer Internet Day! Our Digital Leaders led a Google live streamed assemblies in their classes on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and how this can contribute to misinformation online.

The focus of the day is ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online’. We know that AI can also contribute to a lot of different online scams, and we need to be very wary about what we see and read online.

After the assembly, Digital Leaders led discussions in their classes on how we can keep ourselves safe from online scams.

On safer internet day you learn why you are not supposed to give away personal information or you might get hacked. You can only give personal information to trusted adults and brothers.

This week, we have been celebrating Safer Internet Day. The digital leaders showed us Google assemblies. To stay safe from AI scams, remember to think before you click, never share personal info (like your address or password), and always ask a grown-up if something seems strange or “too good to be true,” like a super-easy game win or a secret offer, because AI can make fake messages or videos that look real but try to trick you into giving up secrets or money; if an offer or message feels weird, check with a parent first before opening links or downloading anything.
