Autumn Digital Leader Meeting

Today, the Digital Leaders have met to discuss the outcomes of our task from last half term. Points raised during the meeting:

• Digital Leaders reported that the task had gone well, with children confident with objectives related to Self-Image and Identity.
• Children across the entire school are accessing Roblox at home – is this an issue?
• Digital Leaders were concerned that, with winter approaching, children would be spending more time indoors on devices due to bad weather.

After our discussions, the Digital Leaders decided upon the following actions:

• Support for families around Roblox should be sent out so that all families were aware of the risks.
• Year 6 Digital Leaders visited classes in Year 3 and Year 4 to give further advice about Roblox to children.
• Digital Leaders decided that this half term, our focus should be around Health, Wellbeing and Lifestyle, to encourage children to spend less time on devices this winter.
