In Year 1, we love applying our knowledge, especially in maths! This week, we have been developing our understanding of measuring in centimetres using a ruler. We were set a challenge to measure five different classroom objects and then put them in the right order, from shortest to longest. We worked in pairs to measure and helped check that our partners were measuring accurately. We wrote the measurements onto post it notes to help us remember them. Then we looked carefully at the numbers so we could put them in the right order. Well done everyone on your fantastic teamwork!
