We really love Music in Year 1! This half term, we are working on rhythm. We are singing lots of rhythm starter songs to help us build our understanding. We are also learning our new song, ‘The Prehistoric Animal Brigade’. This week, we enjoyed performing this song with instruments! Some of us used tap sticks to tap the rhythm. Some of us used egg shakers to tap the beat. And we even used the big surdo drum too!

Wow year one must have had amazing fun in their music lessons with Mrs Hudson. Year one used many amazing instruments to make their beautiful rhythm such as tap sticks, egg shakers and the big suede drum. I also used these instruments when I go to Mrs Hudson on a Friday.
