This term in History we have been learning about the Royal Family and what a monarch is. We looked at King Charles and a monarch from the past. We researched Queen Victoria and found out about her life and reign.
We also learned about the Great Exhibition, a huge event that showed inventions and amazing objects from around the world. It was organised by Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s husband, and was held inside a magnificent glass building called the Crystal Palace. Millions of people visited this exciting exhibition.
We enjoyed a trip around the Great Exhibition, looking at all the wonderful inventions that were there.
