So far in RE we’ve learned about Christians and their belief in God. Christians believe God is loving, powerful and the creator of everything. We looked at the story of Jonah, which teaches Christians that God is forgiving and wants people to follow Him, and the creation story, which shows how Christians believe God made the world.
This term in RE we are learning all about Muslims and how they live. Muslims follow the religion of Islam and believe there is one God called Allah. They believe Allah created everything and choose to live in a way that shows their love for Him. Muslims believe Muhammad is a special messenger from Allah and they try to be kind, pray, and remember Allah every day. We have asked some questions about their beliefs and practices, and throughout the topic we will be finding the answers as we go.
