Today Year 1 took part in an exciting History project all about toys from the past and present. We focused on the word decade, meaning ten years, which links perfectly with our Maths learning on counting in tens!
We watched a video about toys our grandparents, parents and teachers played with, then read information about different decades. In groups, the children created fantastic research posters about their chosen decade.
