Today Year 5 had a VR workshop based on our Geography topic of North America! We used the headsets for our first visit, Alaska which is the largest state in the U.S.A. We could see the snowy landscapes, the Northern Lights and we even saw a Moose. After that, we visited the East coast to New York where we had a view of the skyline at night time then we saw some of the human features like Central Park, skyscrapers such as Rockefeller Centre and the Empire State Building and reservoirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, we travelled to the West coast! We started in California where we could see the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge and islands. Then, we went to Nevada where we could see the Hoover Dam that controls the water and generates hydropower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
