Last week we performed our KS2 Christmas production. It was all about a star that had to shine really brightly to guide the way to Belthlehem. We sang a song called Rock a bye baby rock and another called shine! Miss Roscoe was really proud of how everybody tried their best and sang out proudly, everybody remembered the actions as well.
Well done KS2, a great production that was enjoyed by everybody. Thankyou to all the parents who came to support the show, I think you will agree all the children did a fantastic job!
In year 3 we have been thinking about what makes a good friend. We thought about all the qualities we would like our friends to be:
We thought about whether we are all these things to our friends and if we are not, how we can try to be more like a good friend. Let’s keep being kind year 3 well done!
In year 3 we have been learning about ancient civilisations. We have already learned about Ancient Egypt and are now focussing on the Indus Valley. We looked at the kinds of cities and houses the people would have lived in.
We used our literacy knowledge and the new skills we had been learning in English to write a letter to a friend imagining that we lived in the Indus Valley.
Well done Year 3, great cross curricular work.
