Today Year 1 took part in an exciting History project all about toys from the past and present. We focused on the word decade<\/strong>, meaning ten years<\/strong>, which links perfectly with our Maths learning on counting in tens!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We watched a video about toys our grandparents, parents and teachers played with, then read information about different decades. In groups, the children created fantastic research posters<\/strong> about their chosen decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well done, Year 1!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
