In today’s RE lesson, the children were introduced to the biblical story of Palm Sunday – a time when Jesus arrived to Jerusalem on a humble donkey and was welcomed fondly with praise and palm leaves by the people who lived there.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To assist in the children’s understanding of this event, we had a special visitor arriving on a little donkey of his own – we welcomed ‘Jesus’ with palm leaves and shouts of “Hosanna” for our saviour! We then made our own palm leaves using a variety of collage and colouring resources to celebrate!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
