This week we have been reading the story ‘The three little pigs’. We have tried very hard to repeat some of the phrases, like ‘huff and puff’ and ‘blow your house down’. We went outside to read our story. We made a house of bricks and had a go at blowing it down.
Today we have been talking about remembrance day. We talked about why people are wearing a poppy in school. We watched a lovely animated story and thought about the soldiers whilst we watched this. Why don’t you have a look at home?
This week we have been developing our gross motor skills. One of our favourite activities has been the parachute. We have moved the parachute up and down making big movements to help strengthen our shoulders. We have had lots of fun.
This week we have been completing lots of activities to develop our fine motor skills. One of our favourite activities was threading cheerios on to spaghetti. It is really tricky to do this but we tried very hard and our teachers were very proud.
