Work Related Learning

Yesterday, we held our annual Work Related Learning summer fair!

There were loads of stalls selling items made by the children, and each stall was based around a country.

Lots of delicious food was sold too, and there were many different games to play.

What did you like best about Work Related Learning?

Harvest Assembly

Key Stage 2 have enjoyed a Harvest assembly led by Mrs Bain and Year 5B. We talked about and celebrated the Harvest gifts brought in by our families.

5B performed a play to teach us the importance of sharing, being thankful and showing tolerance for other religions and beliefs. We talked about how lucky we are to have enough food to eat, and gave thanks for all the choices that we have.

Work Related Learning 2017

Our annual Work Related Learning event was a huge hit! We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather just like last year, so we were able to hold the event in the Key Stage 2 playground.

Thank you so much to everybody who came and enjoyed the food, drinks, games, stalls and activities on offer. We raised a total of £688.82!

Summer 1 Smiley Reward – the Circus

On Friday, Reception, Key Stage 1 and Year 6 took part in their Smiley reward, and today it was Key Stage 2’s turn. The children have all enjoyed learning a variety of circus skills, including plate spinning, scarf waving, balancing, juggling and even riding tiny bicycles!

Well done to all the children for earning their smileys!
