Bolton 2Code Competition

This term at Oxford Grove, all the classes have been working on their computer coding skills in Computing. We have been using a program on Purple Mash called 2Code, which teaches you how to put together command blocks into lines of code. The code we have been creating can make characters (or “sprites”) move, make sounds, send a message and many other things.

Over the last few weeks, we have all be working on entries for a 2Code competition run by Bolton Schools ICT. The overall winner for our school is Kayne from Year 5! Well done, Kayne – your game has now been entered into the competition for all Bolton schools!
