Cross Curricular Maths and Reading

This week, we have started our new topic by completing lots of cross-curricular learning!

Our new topic is Who are the British? We started off by using plasticene to make a model of what we thought our country looked like. When we checked after using a map, some of our ideas at the start were not quite right!

We have investigated key locations in the UK using maths. Some of us chose locations to measure between in centimetres on a UK map, and some of us used grid references to create routes for BeeBot to move between on a UK map.

Also, we have researched rivers in the UK as part of cross-curricular reading. We enjoy applying our skills across all our learning!

Can you remember any facts about rivers in the UK?
